LET’S KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL
As the descendant of wheat farmers from western nebraska whose land has been farmed for a hundred years, our founder is passionate about protecting america’s natural beauty.
Boycott Beef’s mission is to pressure a critical American industry in order to raise awareness about the ecological impacts of animal agriculture. Just like the bus boycotts in the 1960s, the end goal is to create such a disruption in business that officials will have to take notice and change the laws. In this case, the current administration needs to honor the budgets that Congress lawfully earmarked to support America’s green energy transition; and sign into law any new legislation that expands renewable energy projects.
Our vision is to build a new energy economy that creates American jobs and advances America to the forefront of the green revolution, keeping our nation relevant and competitive on the global stage. Make no mistake: renewable energy makes America strong. Energy independence is not just a matter of individual Americans’ economic health and advancement; it contributes to America’s national security by reducing our reliance on foreign resources to drive our economy.
Solar leasing creates an opportunity to increase land productivity for small farmers, while protecting our natural resources for the next generation. Finally, increasing availability of solar energy to low-income communities relieves the cost burden of utilities for America’s most vulnerable citizens; all while reducing emissions and helping to keep us below the warming threshold that scientists have advised.
We will continue to pressure the animal agriculture industry until the federal government makes significant, impactful investments in America’s renewable energy future.
