CHARITIES WE SUPPORT

Boycott Beef began as a passion project to raise awareness about the impacts of animal agriculture. As of this writing, 100% of the profits from merchandise sales are diverted to one of two objectives: supporting reforestation to combat the effects of land use change, including right here in the United States; or to support the installation of solar panels in low-income communities through Habitat for Humanity.

Give Solar is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 2018 through the support of a grant from the Merck Foundation’s Neighbor of Choice Program. GiveSolar operates as part of New Community Project. They work with Habitat for Humanity and other charities to source and install solar panels for vulnerable Americans to lower the cost of utilities. We chose this project because it contributes directly to America’s growing green energy economy, and it helps the poorest Americans during a time of intense inflation.

One Tree Planted is an environmental nonprofit that is dedicated to making it simple for anyone to help the environment. Their simplified donation process and global reach has helped them build a movement of supporters who believe in the power of trees. They even have extensive reforestation projects right here in the United States, to help keep America clean and beautiful for years to come.
